New Course:

Excavation and Trenching Safety

This training program is intended to provide trenching and excavating awareness training. Recognizing and understanding the complex hazards of an excavations site are only the first steps in providing a safe and healthful worksite. Employees with years of experience and knowledge are just as vulnerable as first time excavators. Employees should readily accept any responsibilities that they have been assigned and make a commitment to perform their duties safely every day. Always remember your day-to-day decisions and the actions you take have the potential to save your life, as well as the lives of your co-workers.

Heat-Related Illness Awareness

This presentation has been developed to introduce the basic elements of safely working in hot environments. Toiling in the heat can cause uncomfortable and dangerous working conditions. Employees who work outside, or in facilities with a hot and balmy working environment, are put at risk for heat-related illnesses on a daily basis. This course will review the risks associated with warm work conditions as well as the precautions that will help reduce the risk. Heat-related Illness Awareness will also review the primary heat-related illnesses, the symptoms, and how to respond and treat the illnesses. As heat-related illnesses are not confined to the workplace, employees can use these priciples to protect themselves and their families from heat-related illnesses at home as well.
